My name is Star Rooney, principal broker and co-owner of Star Realty. I am a designated Realtor® specializing in the Greater New Orleans and North Shore Area since 2007. Hello! I am Roux Rooney, co-owner, and realtor of Star Realty and a NFIP Authorized Adjuster since 2005. I also have a real estate license since 2015. The majority of my life has been spent in the restoration of houses and helping families who have suffered from catastrophic flood damage traverse through the insurance claims process of receiving the funds needed to rebuild their homes and lives. Before I started working as an adjuster, I spent my days in the home restoration business specializing in finish work. My joy comes from seeing the smiles on people's faces when they are presented with a finished product and they have been satisfied beyond their expectations. I have been blessed with a solid work foundation cultivated through military service and my undying passion for knowledge.
